The Metro Lifeline LECPEDS2 is a premium, purpose-built paediatric resuscitation trolley designed to deliver rapid, organised, and effective crisis care when every second counts. Unlike standard medical carts, the Lifeline series is engineered specifically for ‘Code Response’ situations, ensuring that life-saving equipment and paediatric-specific medications are always within immediate reach of the clinical team.

Constructed from advanced, corrosion-proof polymer, the LECPEDS2 features smooth, rounded corners and integrated Microban® Antimicrobial Product Protection. This technology works continuously to inhibit the growth of bacteria, mould, and mildew, supporting stringent hospital infection control protocols and keeping the cart cleaner between scheduled wash-downs.

In high-pressure emergency scenarios, manoeuvrability is critical. The cart is equipped with a proprietary 5th wheel steering assist system, actuated by a trigger on the ergonomic handle. This allows for effortless navigation through crowded hospital corridors and precise positioning at the patient’s bedside.

The LECPEDS2 configuration is specifically tailored for paediatric use, featuring a colour-coded drawer system for rapid age/weight-based medication identification. The unit comes fully equipped with essential accessories, including an adjustable defibrillator tray, a lockable sharps container, an I.V. pole, a suction pump shelf, and a backboard. Security is managed via a tamper-evident passive locking system, allowing the entire cart or individual segments to be secured with a single seal.
